It is essential to understand that not all generator manufacturers provide equivalent warranty coverage. When a repair is covered under warranty, that means the manufacturer is supposed to pay Heritage Generator for the repair. Some manufacturers do this promptly and fully, but some do not. Heritage Generator only installs units from manufacturers with reasonable warranty reimbursement policies. Your warranty is only as good as the manufacturer’s warranty reimbursement practices. Heritage Generator will communicate fully with you about the warranty process.
Remember, a warranty is different from a service agreement. Warranties cover defects in materials and workmanship for a period of time following a generator installation. Service agreements cover regular maintenance like oil changes and adjustments. Regular service is required to keep your warranty in effect.
